Accessibility statement
Jonatan Ary — Electrical Services (VAIMOS, business ID 323718346) considers it important to serve all clients, and works to make vaimos.net usable by people with disabilities.
Conformance level
This site has been built to Israeli Standard IS 5568, "Guidelines for web content accessibility", at level AA. That standard is based on the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
What has been done
- A correct, hierarchical heading structure and semantic HTML landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
- Every interactive element can be operated with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A "skip to main content" link at the start of every page.
- Text and background contrast ratios that meet level AA.
- Real text rather than images of text, so it can be enlarged and read aloud.
- Alternative descriptions for images, with decorative elements marked so screen readers skip them.
- Clear labels on every form field, and status messages announced to screen readers.
- Responsive layout for phones and varying screen sizes, including at up to 200% zoom.
- The operating system's "reduce motion" preference is respected.
- An on-site accessibility menu: larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and stopped animations. These preferences are stored in the visitor's own browser only.
Known limitations
Despite the effort to make the whole site accessible, some pages or components may not yet be fully accessible. The site is updated from time to time and its accessibility continues to be improved.
Please note that services provided through third parties — for example the contact form, which is operated by Formspree — are not fully under our control in terms of accessibility. If a form is not accessible to you, please get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email instead.
