Electrical work for business, workshops and light industry

Panel mapping, upgrades and site infrastructure — run like a project

A site survey and a written report before the quote. An itemised price. A schedule, an update at the end of every working day, labelled circuits and as-made documentation at handover. No surprises, and no chasing your electrician for answers.

For businesses, workshops and light industry

Most of my work is in existing installations that grew without a plan: a panel nobody has mapped, circuits nobody can trace, and a new machine that needs a feed. That is the starting point.

Core specialism

Panel mapping & upgrades

Survey the existing installation, map every circuit, label the panel clearly — then decide what actually needs replacing.

  • Circuit mapping and load identification
  • Panel labelling and schedules
  • Replacing or extending an existing board
  • Separating circuits, adding protection
  • Preparation for utility inspection

Machine feeds & service boxes

A new machine on the line, an extra workstation, or existing equipment that now draws more than its circuit allows.

  • Dedicated three-phase circuits
  • Service boxes and power points
  • Cable routes and trunking
  • Sub-panel adaptation

Fit-out & renovation infrastructure

Offices, showrooms, garages, warehouses and clinics — from first conduit to the day the lights go on.

  • Power and data infrastructure
  • Cabling, sockets and outlets
  • Light fittings and busbar systems
  • Coordination with the main contractor and architect

EV charging

For company fleets and staff parking — including the supply, the dedicated feed and the protection, not just the charger on the wall.

  • AC and DC charging points
  • Load planning at the board
  • Infrastructure for car parks and covered bays
  • Provision for future expansion

Electrical & lighting design

Drawings you can actually build from — instead of discovering mid-job that the architect's lighting plan doesn't work on site.

  • Electrical and lighting plans for execution
  • Up to 3×80A in residential buildings, offices and workshops
  • Beyond that — together with a chief electrician

Documentation & as-made drawings

What was actually built, written down — so that in two years' time whoever opens that panel, me included, knows what's in it.

  • Circuit labelling and panel schedules
  • As-made drawings
  • Installation file and photos before walls close

Work above 3×80A. Larger installations are carried out according to drawings approved by a licence holder entitled to prepare them, and under the supervision and responsibility of a chief electrician — through an established working partnership, not an ad-hoc arrangement. The size of the supply does not limit the size of the project.

Private homes

Residential work reaches me mainly by word of mouth, and I keep doing it — the same way.

Consumer unit replacement · Fault finding and repair · Sockets and outlets · Light fittings and ceiling fans · Home EV charging · Electrical and lighting design for renovations · Preparation for utility inspection

How I work

Why "run like a project" isn't a slogan

The complaint I hear most about tradespeople isn't about the quality of the work — it's about uncertainty: when they'll turn up, what exactly is included, and why the price changed. These five stages exist to close that gap.

Survey and written report

I come to site, open things up, photograph and test. You get a written summary of what's there today — including the unwelcome findings, if there are any. Before we talk about price.

Itemised quote

Line by line, with quantities. What's included and what isn't, payment milestones, and a clear mechanism for changes — every addition approved in writing before it's built.

Schedule and execution

A start date, an estimated duration per stage, and a short update at the end of each working day: what got done, what's next, and if something is stuck — why.

Testing, labelling and inspection

Testing, circuit labelling and panel schedules, and proper preparation for the utility or the licensed inspector — including attending the inspection itself.

Handover and documentation

As-made drawings, an installation file and photographs of the infrastructure before the walls were closed. It all stays with you, even if someone else works there next.

Projects

What has gone through my hands

Several of the projects below were carried out as part of an installation crew, under the management and responsibility of the electricians I work with. My role in each one is stated plainly — that matters more than an impressive-looking list.

Own project

Metalworking plant — Jezreel Valley area

Four dedicated circuits for four new production machines: cable runs at height, service boxes at the workstations, and adaptation of the existing sub-panels (3×80A and 3×63A). Including a full mapping of the existing boards before work started.

Hamashbir, Hutzot HaMifratz

Roughly 800 m² of main showroom plus some 500 m² of storage, offices, car park and staff areas: power and data infrastructure, full cabling, sockets, light fittings and three-phase busbar systems, and four service-box stations for food trucks in the car park. 3×450A supply.

University of Haifa — student dormitories

Panel upgrades in dormitory units, and separation of the lighting infrastructure across 24 boards in all the dormitory buildings: new boards, breakers and connections, and 150 light fittings replaced. Cable runs between panels (5×25 up to 5×150), charging points for study desks in common areas, and new infrastructure for refurbished classrooms.

Amigour — Yoseftal 24, Kiryat Yam

Stairwell and common-area lighting built from scratch in a building undergoing major renovation: new infrastructure and new fittings, including a split where 34% of the fittings stay on continuously through the night hours on a timer, while the remaining 66% keep working normally from the stairwell push-button. Emergency lighting and exit signage throughout.

Professional partnerships

Not working alone when I shouldn't be

I work regularly alongside two electricians with more years in the trade than I have. On their projects I'm part of the crew; on mine, they join when the scope or the supply current calls for it. That means a larger project can be taken on without improvising — and without handing you the job of coordinating between contractors.

Chief electrician

OrKad

Collaboration on large commercial projects — Hamashbir Hutzot HaMifratz, Amigour Kiryat Yam and others. On projects above 3×80A, work is carried out to approved drawings, under his supervision and responsibility.

Licensed electrician

Maor Ram

Collaboration on institutional and industrial projects — University of Haifa, Silim Eggs and others.

About

Who I am

My name is Jonatan Ary. I came to the electrical trade after years of running projects and complex systems, and I bring that with me onto every site: planning up front, a schedule, documentation, and communication you don't have to chase.

My first licence is Spanish — Técnico de Instalaciones Eléctricas de Baja Tensión. While there I upgraded a flat's electrical installation in Barcelona from basic to elevated specification under REBT requirements. I built my previous house myself in Light Gauge Steel, including the electrical infrastructure, the plumbing and the roof — which is what taught me to read an electrical installation as one system rather than a chain of points.

On 1 September 2026, following a recognition process with the Israeli Ministry of Labour, I received my Israeli licence as a חשמלאי מוסמך (licensed electrician). Since then I've combined work on large projects alongside two more experienced electricians with my own projects, which I run from survey to handover.

I work in Hebrew, English and Spanish — more useful than it sounds when you're corresponding with an equipment supplier abroad or reading a manufacturer's datasheet.
